Our Manufacturing Process

The rubber manufacturing process involves transforming raw rubber materials into a wide range of rubber products, from tires and automotive parts to industrial seals and consumer goods. This process typically includes several key stages. Here's a run down of Dolphin Rubber's manufacturing process-

Raw Material

The raw material selection step is foundational in ensuring the quality and performance of the final rubber product.

Mixing

The mixing step in rubber manufacturing processes, often carried out using a kneader, is a crucial stage where various raw materials are blended together to create a homogeneous rubber compound. This compound will eventually be molded and vulcanized to produce the final rubber product.

Sheeting

The Sheeting step using a mill is where the mixed rubber compound is transformed into flat, continuous sheets of uniform thickness. These sheets serve as a primary material for various downstream manufacturing processes such as cutting, molding, and extrusion.

Moulding

The molding step in rubber manufacturing using a hydraulic press is a pivotal process where the preheated and prepared rubber compound is shaped into its final form. This process is essential for producing a wide range of rubber products, from automotive parts to industrial seals and consumer goods

QA/QC Inspection

Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) are critical steps in the rubber manufacturing process. These steps are in place to ensure that the rubber products meet specific quality standards and specifications.

Packing

The packing step in the rubber manufacturing process involves preparing rubber products for storage, transportation, and distribution by securely packaging them. Proper packaging is essential to protect the rubber products from environmental factors, damage, and contamination.
